Brrrrr!!!!

It has been very chilly here the past few days here in south Alabama! Of course it's been freezing cold everywhere else too, but I'm sorry...it's NOT SUPPOSED to be this cold here!!!

I am ready for swimsuit season :) My sweet little baby Chloe is ready for swimsuit season too! Chloe loves getting dressed up! Well...sometimes! I always put the cutest outfits on her, if I do say so myself. She had the CUTEST outfit for her 3rd birthday party. (yes, i have had a doggy birthday party for my sweet Chloe each year, please don't hate :)...appreciate)

Yesterday, she was wearing her sweet little pink sweater with pink scarf that my future sister-in-law gave her last year. She was on my bed and in a very playful mood and I took her picture...she hardly ever poses when I want her too! Please excuse the static in her ears.
This morning I was getting ready for work and put on a different sweater on my cute little Chloe. She is usually fluffy, but recently got groomed...so we have to have a sweater on her at all times now :) We took a picture...she decided not too be so phoogenic on this one.
I think she was just sad that I was about to go to work :(....so I gave her some kisses to make her feel better!
I went to work and had a fabulous day with Amie and Jenn! I saw some of my favorite customers today. Hey Aimee and Heather :) Today we rearranged the entire store, finished inventory, and put out NEW merchandise...which will be finished in the next 2 days!!!
When I got home I was SO excited to recieve a package!! I just love fun mail! I won a giveaway that the O-SO-FABULOUS Gwen had, and I love it. I just love all my Baekgaard goodies! Thanks again Gwen!

I recieved a sweet note in a cute damask print card, a super fun plaid notepad that is now in my purse, a cute handbag keychain, and an adorable wristlet :)
So, after looking at my fun new goodies, I starting checking blogs and reading about how everyone's day has been and I've been given some awards!!!

New Award!

Happy Sunday Everyone!

How has everyone's weekend been? I am eating a fresh and warm, just out of the oven brownie :) And boy, is it scrumptious! I haven't eaten a brownie in a long time!

Thanks everyone for your shopping sites from the last post! I have been looking at them and finding some unique things.

Amber at The Survival Guide for the Young, Fabulous, and Newlywed has nominated me for an award! It is a very FABULOUS award because she created it once she got 75 followers! She just awarded it for the FIRST time and I am honored to be one of the first ones to recieve this award.
The "Simply Fabulous" Award!

I just love the word 'fabulous'! It's one of my most often used words. Here's the rules on what I have to do:

- Post this award on your blog.
- Blog about a woman (real life, celebrity or fictional) that you think is *fabulous* and explain why you think she rocks.
- Pass the award on to 5 other bloggers that you think are deserving.

There are many celebrities who look fabulous, do fabulous things for charities, and I'm sure they are fabulous in real life too..but I haven't met a celebrity, maybe one day I can meet Reese Witherspoon or a 'fab' singer or something. The Fabulous people I know are every day heroes and role models that I get to see each and everyday. The most Fabulous woman I know is my momma. She has always lived each day to the fullest. She is always there for me. We always do fun things together and enjoy spending time together! We may sometimes have our moments, but what mother and daughter doesnt? :)

The 5 FABULOUS bloggers that I am giving this award too are:

Teresa at Blooming on Bainbridge

Cora at Heartfelt and Homemade

Kassie at Raindrops on Roses

Juliana at A Blonde Walks into a Blog

Risley at Adventures of the Wilkinson's

Have a FABULOUS week everyone!

There's nothing better than...

Girl Time and Shopping!!
Mom and I spent the day together this past weekend in Florida. She works nights at the hospital and every other weekend and I work and go to school during the day, so we don't always see each other. We always enjoy our 'Girl Time'!

The first place we went to was lunch in Panama City Beach at Margaritaville. Mom had never been and I have, so I told her we would go.

It was NOT busy at all, so we were able to get quick service on our food. I was hoping the atmosphere would be the same as is it in the summer, but it was DEFINATELY not! O well! I told Momma I would take her back on a summer night :)

In the picture above, you can see the DJ area, and the 'Tiki' room up top. It would be fun to sit and eat up there with a bunch of friends. We sat on the side wall near the stage. You can see my pretty Momma and all the empty tables.I ordered the Chicken and Broccoli Pasta and it was yummy! Mom ordered the grilled Mahi-Mahi sandwich on wheat. She said hers "was soo good".After we ate our lunch we strolled through Pier Park which is where Margaritaville is located. Pier Park has a lot of specialty shops and boutiques as well as a movie theatre, restaurants, and candy shops

We went to some cute shops. I bought a dress at DeJa-Vu for $20. It was regular $69. It's super cute with a navy turtleneck and Uggs :) I plan on wearing it tomorrow to work. I promise it's cuter in person! After shopping some more, we decided to stop for some energy :) White chocolate mocha's at the one and only...STARBUCKS!!! :)
We then saw a glimpse of Elvis..he was dancing at Tootsie's Lounge :)

We then did tons of shopping at the outlets in Destin. We went to Saks 5th Ave., Polo, Lacoste, and Coach..where I thought of Gwen :)
While we were shopping at the outlets, my mom and I look at each other and we are in desperate need of a Diet Coke! We are Diet-Coke-aholics! Major addiction to the wonderful Diet Coke! I've had 2 DC's while typing this :) Told you I'm addicted! Well, we spotted a Coke machine. We got together our $1.25 and fed it to the machine...when all of a sudden, not 1..BUT 2 DIET COKES came out!!! You would have thought I won the lottery or something, I quickly grabbed those Diet Coke's like they were gold! I didn't want anyone taking them away from me! Here I am proudly showing my 2 DC's :) Sorry I look so bad, I wasn't feeling great and had no make-up on!
We THEN went shopping at another outside mall, where I managed to find some other super cute clothes and jewelry. I can't find any pics of them. Sorry :(
I also bought Momma some earrings for her birthday coming up on the 23rd. She has to wear clip because she has sensitive ears. It is SO hard to find cute clip earrings these days! I wear regular pierced, so I don't have a problem :) Earrings are my favorite! They are so fun and girly! I keep telling momma to go and get her ears re-pierced. Maybe she will listen and go one day soon.
********************************************************************************
Here's a question for you girls? I am looking for some new online stores to shop at, do you know of any cute online boutiques? Stores with cute clothing and accessories? I'm always looking for something different. This is also a chance for other bloggers to get ideas on some new sites as well!

Have a FABULOUS day!!

I love surprises!!

Happy Monday everyone!

Not much has happened around here since yesterday. I did make some chocolate chip cookies :) Right as I took them out of the oven I realized I didn't take any pictures! So, you will just have to imagine how yummy and pretty my chocolate chip cookies were! I also went to Wal-Mart to get some stuff for Mom. I love Velveeta and Rotel dip! I bought those two things and some Tostito's Scoops and snacked on it instead of eating lunch and dinner...oops!

This pic is from foodnetwork.com. However, I don't use hamburger meat and celery like they have in the picture. I'm not that much of a hamburger meat eater anyways.

So, I checked my e-mail this morning, and Tales of a Short Southern Momma said she had a surprise for me over at her blog! GO SEE HER!! She is fabulous! I quickly checked to see what it was. I just LOVE surprises! I won an award!!! The You've Got It! Blog Award.

As most of you know I started the Devotional Book called "Lady In Waiting", and I just wanted to leave you girls with 2 quotes that I read from it.

"A woman is not born a woman. Nor does she become one when she marries a man, bears a child and does their dirt linen, not even when she joins a womens liberation movement. A woman becomes a woman when she becomes what GOD wants her to be."

"Happy indeed are those people, married or single, who have discovered that happiness is not found in marriage but in a right relationship with GOD" -Gary Chapman

Have a Fantastic Monday!!

Gorgeous yet Random Day!!

It is a beautiful and very cold day in south Alabama today! I decided to blog before I go for a mid-day run. I can't stand running, I've always just been a fast paced walker...but I decided this year, I would try to do some running. We'll see how that turns out!

This post is a little short and a little random and involves random thoughts and information, but at least there's pics :)

One thing that I wanted to do this new year, was to become closer to God. I have always grown up in a christian family and had a wonderful church home to attend. But now is the time in my life where I feel as if I need to know HIM a little bit better. I need his encouragement and his word more than ever. Jen over at The Francis Family recommended a devotional book that she read with friends before she was married. It seemed like just what I needed, so I went and bought it and plan to start with Chapter 1 today. I did some shopping and bought some Brighton beads for my Bauble LuLu bracelet. (alot like Pandora). I LOVE pink and bling, so needless to say that these were perfect!

I also bought an silver OWL spacer too! I have recently become obsessed with owls..they have to be cute and friendly owls though :)

Here's my bracelet so far and here's my owl spacer. I haven't put him on yet! (Sorry the picture is a little blurry)What do you girls think? Do any of you have a Pandora, Troll, Chamilia, Brighton, or Bauble LuLu bracelet? Do you like yours?

At Hissyfits Boutique, where I work, we sell the Bauble LuLu bracelets and beads. It was one of our MOST popular Christmas items! It's a good reward system for young children too! We have parents that bought their child a bracelet and one starter bead and each week if they do good in school, they get to come on Friday and pick out a bead.

There are two things in this post that I have mentioned that I love: PINK, and OWLS! There's also something else I just LOVE....CUPCAKES! I love to eat cupcakes, I love to make them, I just love anything with cupcakes on them. I even have some adorable dishware that has cupcakes on it that I use for birthdays that I bought from TJMAXX. I will show pics of those the end of January because I will use them for momma's birthday! Here are some cupcakes that we had last year for my birthday! My momma ordered my cupcake pics from Bugandboo from Etsy. They have my monogram and a birthday message!

I hope everyone has a blessed Sunday and a FABULOUS week!

Happy New Year!!!

Welcome 2010!

Let me start off by saying Thank You for your comments about the previous 'Wedding' post! Everyone had good advice for dress shopping and date advice! However, things have come up, and I can no longer go! But I will let you girls know how the next wedding I attend goes! Promise!

This past week has been quite eventful! I worked Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and I have off for a WHOLE WEEK!! I love working at my job, but I am glad to have some time off..some ME time! I plan to do some shopping, read a book, get ready for classes that start on the 19th, and more shopping! Wednesday night I went to a Bachelorette spajama party for my friend Meagan. It was fun hanging out with the girls! My friend Caleb (who's pic is in a lot of posts) came to visit thiss week, He got here Monday and left about an hour ago. My family enjoyed his company very much! He is such a kind young man with a good heart. My momma loves him SO much that yesterday morning when we were eating breakfast...my momma HANDMADE his orange juice! Freshly swueezed some Florida oranges just for him! She has never done this before, and the sad thing is we don't have a juice squezzer (because we don't usually drink juices), so she has to squeeze them with her own two hands. Take a look!

After breakfast my momma, dad, Caleb, and I went to see the movie 'Did You Hear About the Morgan's'. It was a cute movie and we all liked it!

After the afternoon movie we went to Cracker Barrel to get some yummy Homestyle Cooking! My momma and I always get the same thing. The grilled chicken tenderloins. I get mashed potatoes and corn, and mom gets fried okra and hashbrown casserole. Caleb and dad both went for breakfast foods. Then Caleb wanted to stop by Dick's Sporting Goods and then we made a Target run to get some snacks to take to our friends house. We had fun with friends on New Year's Eve just catching up and having fun with fireworks! I love sparklers, they are my favorite. Caleb enjoyed them too!

I hope everyone is having a FABULOUS New Year so far! Is anyone making any New Year resolutions? Do you believe in making them? The only thing I plan to do, is excercise more and eat healthy. I love taking Zumba classes, and so I plan to attend Zumba classes often..or do Zumba at home each day with Zumba DVD's. Has anyone else attended a Zumba class? It is awesome and so much fun! Anyone can do it! It is a very popular thing down in the south!!

Have a blessed and FABULOUS New Year!
