Dinner Date!

My BFF Courtney and I had a dinner date last night. We decided to go to Red Elephant! That place is very good! She was too sweet and treated me for my birthday :) Thanks Court!!

We had to wait for 30 minutes before being seated!! It was packed for a Tuesday night! We had such a nice time catching up and talking. We haven't seen each other in about a week.

I decided to try one of their famous pizzas this time. I had a personal pan with cheese and pepperoni :) It was so yummy! I love their crust!!

Courtney decided to try the Tuscan Roast Beef Dip Sandwhich.

Tuscan Roast Beef Dip- Stacked high and topped with sautéed
onions, mushrooms and Swiss cheese on ciabatta bread. Served hot with au jus.

She said it was delicious!

We got FREE dessert (because it was my birthday)..ELEPHANT EARS!!

After eating dinner we went to our fav place..TJMaxx! I never look through the clothes rack unless I am with Court because she always finds good stuff! I found a super cute dress for Spring for $12.99!! That's right, a $13 dress. I wore it today with cowboy boots, a white cardigan, and my Sorrelli jewelry :) It was cute. Next time I wear it, I will take a pic :)

Courtney found a Lacoste towel for her boyfriend. They have tons of Lacoste towels, washclothes, and bath mats! Those would make perfect guys graduation gifts. They are always hard to buy for.

4 Days!

Just FOUR days until I'm not technically a teenager anymore! Saturday is my 20th Birthday! Yay! I don't know exactly what I'm going to do quite yet. Each year my family always goes to eat at the restauraunt of my choosing and I get a cake/cupcakes :)

SO SORRY I haven't blogged in a week...its just been really busy around here! I thought for a post today, since nothing new is really going on in my life, that I would show you some pics of birthdays past. Now I haven't had my laptop long, and don't have birthday pics from years before on here, so these are just from my 18th and 19th birthdays :)

First off, I REALLY wish I had a pic of my 16th bithday cake on here...but I dont :( It was a 3 tiered fondant cake. The bottom layer was brown with hot pink, turquoise, lime, and purple stripes. The middle layer was brown with the above colored polka dots, and the top was just like the bottom. It had curly q's sticking out from the top and a big "16". It resembled something like this, but three tiers and curly q's sticking out and in the colors above :)

For my 18th birthday I decided to eat at Olive Garden and I told mom I wanted a monogramed zebra cake. She found a lady in town, and here it is.

I loved my big gift for my 18th bday! I need to get it back out, and get my abs looking good for spring break!

Do you notice "Belle" from Beauty and the Beast in the background? I was in plays in high school and mom always decorated my gift tables at home accordingly. The play was "Beauty and the Beast", and it was going on the week of my birthday. I was a dancer :) Maybe I should talke about the plays in another post!!..I think I will.

So my mom likes to make birthdays special and on my 19th birthday, I had Krispy Kreme for breakfast!! Yum! I think I ate half a dozen :/ She is always doing sweet thing throughout the day! :)

Instead of cake we had CUPCAKES! Of course they had my monogram!!

Busy As Can Be!

Hey everyone! I have been so busy lately! This past weekend I worked and also spent some much needed time with family :)

I tried out a new restaurant in town called The Red Elephant. It was very yummy! If you live in south Alabama or Florida(there's a few locations there) go try it out!

For starters we ordered the Hummus Dip and fresh baked pita chips.

Hummus Dip: Healthy & delicious, made from chick peas, tahini, garlic and lemon juice served with toasted pita chips

I ordered the 'Pasta Ya-Ya' without mushrooms for my entree and it was FABULOUSLY DELICIOUS!!

Pasta YaYa: Flame grilled chicken breast over fettucini with Alfredo sauce, broccoli, mushrooms, squash, peas, carrots and parmesan cheese

Mom ordered the Grilled and blackened Mahi Mahi with Saffron Rice. She said it was better than Red Lobster's!!

For dessert we had an ELEPHANT EAR!!

I hate so badly that I didn't take any pictures :( Maybe next time!

I have some studying to do for a few tests next week and math homework to complete (boo.) so I won't be blogging much this week.

Sunglasses Help!

HELP! My sunglasses broke and I need some new ones :) I have had Costa Del Mars, Fossil, Betsey Johnson, and Coach sunglasses in the past! My Betsey's just broke :(

I really LOVE these Brighton 'Twinkle' sunglasses, but can't decide which color!

I love the big bling on the side! So, what do you think?

Craftiness and Shopping

Happy Tuesday! I have had quite an eventful weekend! It's had its ups and downs but it's getting better. I can always feel better when I get to swipe my card and go shopping :) How many of you girls do that? Call me crazy, but I honestly believe in retail therapy! If your having a bad day, I think you should buy yourself a little something to feel better! If it's a candy bar you haven't had in a while, new pair of shoes, cute dress, jewelry, new bottle of finger nail polish or ANYTHING...after you purchase something that makes you smile..it makes you happy!

Well, I've done some shopping today :)...Some much needed Retail Therapy.

First off, I bought a super cute dress off LuLu's.com. It was $33.00 and I scored 15% off :)

This is the navy "Sweetest Thing" Dress. I love the flowers on the side, there's even a little rhinestone on each flower :) I love bling!

I went to work today and we got in the CUTEST Train Cases! Perfect Graduation gift, birthday gift, Bridesmaid gift, and for only $18.99!! I love how it has clear plastic over the brightly colored paisley fabric! So cute!

After work, I had to return something at TJMaxx and got some store credit and found the perfect thing to display all my earrings! For ONLY $12.99 :) SCORE!

One thing I HAD to get to relieve some stress is.... DIET COKE :)

A friend of mine had a sweet little baby girl this morning. I went and bought a few little items for her sweet new baby. All newborns need little mittens so they don't cut their face and a super cute rattle!!

I have been working on making a little something for her with a monogram of course! So I came up with a hairbow holder!! I bought some little hairbows too for when she gets older! What do you girls think? The monogram is topped with some glitter for some added "GLITZ"!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Wishing all my blogger friends a very Happy Valentine's Day! This is a not so good picture of the Valentine's Cards I ordered from Shutterfly this year. Do you like it? Usually, I'm not a big fan of Valentine's Day because I think that everyone should show love and appreciation each and every day instead of just one day a year. But I will always have a very special Valentine...my sweet Chloe Elizabeth!

This afternoon I am going to see the movie Valentine's Day with my boss Amie and good friend Aimee!! I hope I remember to take a pic of the 3 of us!
