The Great Pumpkin Patch

I just love wonderful FALL weekends, don't you? Momma treated her girls and sweet Logan to the pumpkin patch Saturday for a day of fun! Fun is just what it was! Logan enjoying every minute and I loved seeing him laugh and smile so much! He brings so much joy to our family!

We pulled up at Corndodgers Farm in Headland right when they opened at noon.
When we pulled up they had the CUTEST "special parking" signs!
Gray Hair and Lost Tooth!
We started off at the Pumpkin Patch and Logan just LOVED picking up the pumpkins and eventually found out he could sit on them.. Or squat on them!

Then Logan wanted to sit on the hayride, which we ended up riding at the very end. He sure loved playing in the hay.

Logan loved the CORN!

Logan also loved the tractors..

And the Cow ride...

And the slides...

..and the goats! Don't worry we thoroughly washed out hands afterwards ;)
As you can see it was such a fun day! We weren't even a mile away from the farm and our sweet baby was fast asleep in the car seat!

I'm hosting a Pumpkin Painting Party for some of our favorite "littles" this afternoon at our home! Be sure to check back! Y'all know I love a good party ;)

Happy Fall Y'all!

October Fun!

It has been quite awhile since I've blogged and to be quite honest, not too much has been going on! October is one of my favorite months of the year and this  month has been filled with lots of cool weather and lots of fun! First of all, the hubby turned the big 3-Oh! I had to throw a little party but rest assured I will NOT throw another tailgate party at our house.. the lovely Auburn Tigers lost! Maybe my decor and food made up for it ;) I could NOT have thrown this little get together without the help of my fabulous party planning momma! A huge thanks to her!
Drink station complete with Spiked Toomer's Lemonade!

We had lots of dips like Spinach, baked enchilada, 7 layer, and buffalo chicken! Momma helped me make the best sub sandwich ring...it's from the Pampered Chef website ;) I also served some grapes, carrots, and pretzels in green cups with football stickers. The caramel apple grapes are amazing and OH SO EASY! can you spot them on the mini football plates?
Of course I had to have our favorite cookie lady make some deliciousness for the occasion! Check out Sugar Threads on Facebook if your in the tri-state area.
Momma made these and oh my heavens they are amazing! It's on Pinterest ;)
Can't have a tailgate party without game day cornhole!
I whipped this up on my new MONOGRAM MACHINE the morning of the party!
...and no one left without a "DO-NOT"

I wish I had gotten a pic of all our guests but I totally forgot!

The adorable tissue paper garland and letters is by Charmingly Kristin on Etsy. Be sure to tell her I sent you ;)

Check back tomorrow for photos from the pumpkin patch! Sweet Logan LOVED IT...and so did Aunt Babe!

-happy fall y'all!

Summer Reading

Our furniture finally arrived and I couldn't love it more! We bought it from Ashley Furniture HomeStore and it's the Porter Collection.
We purchased the following pieces! Our furniture is a prettier and darker brown wood than in the stock photos :)

King Size Bed
-We love that this bed has the storage drawers underneath, perfect for extra pillows and bed linens. Since it has the drawers, we saved money by not having to purchase a boxspring!
But that doesn't mean we didn't splurge on a fabulous mattress! Oh my word at how awesome this mattress is.. I highly recommend trying this one out if your in the market!

Dresser with Mirror
- this one is mine and I love it! The drawers are deep and spacious and the top drawers are velvet lined :)

Tall dresser
- this one is the Mister's. It's really tall and is what we will set our TV on once we purchase one this weekend. We loved not have a TV in the bedroom and didn't feel the need for one in there... But now that we go lay in bed at 8:30 because we love our mattress so much... We need a TV :)
Nightstands
- Love Love Love these! They are so pretty and the perfect size! Not too big and not too small. The top drawer is velvet lined as well :)
Speaking of my pretty nightstand, this is what's currently in the top drawer..
The Husband Secret by Liane Moriarty

I've seen and heard that this little book had been enjoyed by many. So far it's pretty good. I just wish I had a whole day to sit and read it start to finish instead of a chapter or two a day every few days. Each chapter in the beginning is about a different character. So by the time I got to chapter 4 or 5, I had to go back and re- read the beginning to remember what happened and the back story.. Does that make any sense?

Anywho.. I plan on reading this next!
I read the previous book..and it was REALLY good :) I'm excited to see where the characters are at in their lives now after the pulled their cake charm :)
How about a "throwback Thursday" in honor of my summer reading?

When I was in elementary school, our church held a Summer Reading Program. Our preachers wife was in charge and made sure to have a great theme every year! This particular year was Noah's Ark and Noah himself made an appearance! ;)
Happy Thursday! Just one more day until the weekend :)

Logan Turns ONE

It has been what seems like forever since my last post, and I'm sorry. I know that I don't have as many followers as I did 2+years ago and no one may be reading this post. The real reason I blog or "used to" is to remember special events, gatherings, trips, etc. That is what I plan on continuing, especially since I'm a married lady now :) One of my favorite way to social media is Instagram, please follow me if you read my blog! I post at least once a day.

The hubby and I have marked quite a few things off of our "To-Do" list the past couple of months :)

We bought a new SUV! I am so excited to have all the extra room and cargo space, definitely not used to it yet! I love all the technology features like PushStart, Navigation, Blutooth, BackUp Camera, etc... It's the ultimate "Aunt Babe" car :) Logan has already enjoyed watching "Frozen" while on his first ride!

...and 10 minutes later, he was OUT!

You can't tell from the picture, but it's a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited... LOVE it! Speaking of love...what do you think of my new Lilly Pulitzer shorts I'm wearing in the picture?

The hubby and I also bought new bedroom furniture! Hello KING size bed and MATCHING dressers and nightstands! It should be delivered later this week, praise Jesus!

Back to what my post title is all about... Our sweet nephews 1st Birthday! I can't believe that a year has come and gone since out little Logibear graced us with his presence :) He is such a sweet, smart, and charming little baby! Enjoy a little preview of his Red Wagon theme party that my fabulous momma "threw" for him!

Logan ADORES our little furbaby Chloe! They have the best time playing and riding the wagon together!

Have a lovely Wednesday! It feels good to be back :)
