Help!!

I am attending a beach wedding this Saturday, the 2nd. My friend Meagan is getting married on a yacht in Florida. Here's a pic of the Solaris.
I have NO CLUE as to what to wear! I found a cute dress online and then when I went to order it the next day it was SOLD OUT!!!
If that were the only problem, I would be ok with it...but it's not. The other thing is I do NOT have a date!!! What am I going to do? My friend Caleb (seen in many pics on my blog) can't go because he will be celebrating late Christmas with family at the lake. I would go by myself, but all of my girlfriends that are going ALL have boyfriends! I am the only single friend :( Needless to say, I do not want to be 'alone' at the wedding.

Wish me luck that I can find a good date that I can have fun with and find the perfect dress!!

Does anyone have any ideas on what to wear or where I can rent-a-date? (JK about the renting!)

I hope everyone has a FABULOUS week!!

My family left earlier today to head back home, and now the holidays are officially over with for me. I had a wonderful time with family this holiday season and I am so very thankful for each and every member!

Christmas morning my mom woke me up and my parents and I ate breakfast together and then we opened presents from 'HoHo'. I was a VERY good girl this year. Here's a few things that I received.
1. A 22-inch flat screen TV
2. TomTom One GPS

3. Black Classic Cardy Uggs

4.Sorrelli 'Cranberry' Ring and Earrings
5. tons of clothes from Express
6. tons of my favorite make-up
7. Remington rollers so I can try a new do!
8. A cute PINK plaque for my room
9. A Bauble Lulu bracelet (alot like Pandora and Troll)

10. Big Budda 'Rose' purse

Chloe got a little too excited with all of the wrapping paper that she played with it all morning!
Chloe got lots of squeaky toys and also some ping pong balls! They are her FAVORITE toy!
We went to my grandparents house for lunch and exchanged gifts. Here I am putting everyones stocking stuffers in the stockings!
Here's me and my wonderful Momma! Sorry that it is so up close, but my little cousin took the picture.
My little cousin Kade opening some gifts! He was so funny to watch! He's the youngest grandchild and is the only 'little kid'.

I hope everyone had a WONDERFUL Christmas season!! May God continue to bless each and every one of you this new year!

Here's a picture of Chloe and I at the end of the day! She was SO tired!

Merry Christmas Eve!

Family. This time of year is when we are most thankful for family and friends, however, we should be thankful for them each and every day! Tonight my grandparents and uncle came over for Lasagna. Lasagna is a family tradition for Christmas Eve dinner each year at our house. My Me-Maw made a very YUMMY cheeseball and I made a Baked Enchilada Dip served with mini Tostito's. This picture does NOT do it justice. I didn't get a before picture, because everyone loved it and devoured this dip in about 10 minutes!

After eating dinner, we talked and talked and watched the dogs play with each other. Becca is my grandparents dog. She is 6 years old, almost 7. Becca wore a pretty Christmas bow in her hair. I have no clue how she didn't pull it out! She does NOT like hairbows! We then decided to play a game called "Sharp Shooters". My dad played this a long time ago and had to search for it. Thnak goodness for Ebay, because that's where he found it! It's a lot of fun and my grandparents always enjoy it. It's just a dice rolling game basically.

This picture is used from boardgamesrus.com

After my grandparents left, my mom, dad, and I exchanged some gifts. We always include Chloe of course! My momma gave Chloe a little hamster called a Zhu-Zhu pet that apparently tons of kids are asking for this Christmas...well, my dog has one! She loves it too! I figured I would leave ya'll with a video of sweet Chloe Elizabeth playing with her new toy! Enjoy! *If you would like to hit mute so that you don't have to hear my southern accent , please do so :)*

Merry Christmas!

Whistle while you work....

Ever wonder what girls do at work that work in a boutique? We clean OF COURSE, and help our lovely customers!! But on days like these, that are busy as can be...we try to have lots and lots of energy! We have dear, sweet customers who bake us lots of goodies this time of year and we are thankful for them each and every day!!

Today, Amie made us girls try 'Ribbon Candy'. I have never eaten Ribbon Candy before. Can you believe that? I've always seen it in pictures, movies, and decoration, but never actually eaten it....until today.

Spearmint, Peppermint, Orange, Bubble Gum, and Lime! Look how pretty!

Jenn was looking at me as if I was crazy for not eating some before!!
Sweet Claire ringing up a customer! Here's Cassie and Maggi smiling for the camera! They love having their pic taken!

I cant NOT wait for tomorrow!!! Tomorrow is Christmas Eve!!!
Here's my Christmas Eve Schedule.
-work from 10-2 (the last minute husband's always shop during this time!)
-make a Baked Enchilada Dip
-my grandparents are coming over for Christmas Eve dinner. Lasagna :)
-my mom, dad, myself, and Chloe open presents from each other and also those that my grandparents from PA sent

Christmas Eve is ALMOST as much fun as Christmas Day! Do you girls have any special Christmas Eve traditions or fun things planned?

Christmas Baking

Last night I decided to bake some Christmas sugar cookies with the new cookie cutters I got from Target. Each year I bake and decorate sugar cookies as well as some other 'goodies'! Here they are after some time in the oven. Once I decorated them, they came to life!
Snowmen, snowflakes, candy canes, Christmas trees, and last but not least...

.....Santa Clause!!
He turned out to be my favorite! The ball of his hat is a marshamallow and so is his beard :)

Tonight, we had a work Christmas party at 'Koi', which is a Japanese restaurant. They have a Hibachi, which means they cook in front of you and provide entertainment. They also have sushi. I have NEVER in my life tried sushi....until tonight. Amie made me try it, and it was SOOOO good! It was called the 'Dothan Roll' and is fried sushi, so I didn't have to eat any of that raw stuff :)

Here's a pic of the 'Dothan Roll'! It was really good and the red on top is hot sauce.

Amie's hubby and kids joined us, and her boys were SO TIRED!!

'A' fell asleep during the chef entertaining us!!

Here's 'D' smiling for me! He was the one who was most awake!

"And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled 'till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more.”!! -Dr.Seuss

Weekend 'Meet and Greets'

Saturday I worked all day and it was BUSY, BUSY! My boss treated me to lunch at Atlanta Bread Company! (Thanks Amie!) It was delicious! I had the Chicken Salad sandwich, no lettuce, tomato, or onion :) and a Diet Coke! Amie had the 1/2 salad and 1/2 soup. Her salad looked very yummy. She had the Mandarin Orange Salad with Asian sauce, and Potato Soup!
While enjoying our meal, I met Darby at Fly Through Our Window! I read her blog almost daily. Amie saw her walking in and knows her, so she introduced us! Sorry, I didn't take a picture. Go ahead and 'Fly through their Window'! I promise after our fun lunch date, we went back to work! :)...after we stopped to get some donuts for the girls at work. It's the Holidays and we need our sugar! Amie had a coupon!

Last night was the Panty Party I talked about in an earlier post. It was so much fun just being able to talk and enjoy one another's company! Good food, Good fellowship, Great Panties, GREAT friends!

I took some pics of Heather's Christmas decorations. She has a beautiful home with celadon blue walls, and pretty lilac bathrooms! This super cute tree was on the guest bathroom counter.

This cute scene is on a table when you walk into the front door.

I hope you girls have a great rest of the weekend!! Enjoy every moment of this Christmas season!

Stocking Stuffers

My mom has asked for some ideas for my stocking, and I wanted to share a few 'stocking stuffers' that are on my list.

Every so often I have a certain kind of gum that I am interested in and always have in my purse. The past month or so I have enjoyed Wrigley's Doublemint. In the Slim Pack! My Me-Maw has always had this gum in her purse since I was a little girl, and she used to always give me a piece in 'big church'! :) Loreal Telescopic Precision Liquid Eyeliner is AWESOME! I use carbon black, but it comes in brown too!

Clinique Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss in Grapefruit

Burt's Bees is a MUST!

All things SHINY are great stocking stuffers too! :) What are some things you like to recieve in your stockings? A favorite stocking stuffer you've recieved in the past?

Happy Friday!!!

Try These!!

If you have 5 minutes to spare then you've got to try these!
EASY TURTLES
You'll need the following:
-a bag of pretzels
-a bag of Rolo's
-pecan halves
Directions: Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Cover a cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Place pretzels on foil and top with a Rolo.

Place tray in oven for 2-2 1/2 minutes. You DO NOT want the rolo's to melt! You just want them to soften. Take them out and press a pecan half on the rolo. Put them in the fridge for a few minutes to set and BAM! Your done! They are soooo yummy!

Look how ADORABLE these door hangers are? My boss and her husband made these out of wood, and I personalize them! They come with a cute bow and wire hanger! PERFECT for your front door, tree topper or hanging over your mantle! These are selling like crazy! They are $48.99 and id any of your ladies would like one, e-mail me! Shipping is an extra $11, unless you live in South Alabama and can pick it up!

Here's 2 of the girls I work with proudly showing off the ornaments!

Merry Christmas from my little reindeer Chloe!!

It's beginning to look ALOT like Christmas!

It has been very busy around here! Finals, work, and Christmas shopping!!

Mom and I went shopping Sunday afternoon to finish some Christmas shopping and do some shopping for ourselves :)

My grandparents always babysit Chloe for us when we go to Montgomery because it's on the way and we can just drop her off and know that she's in good hands! We had to stop at CVS and get a prescription and the sweet little girl at the drive-thru gave Chloe a heart shaped dog biscuit :)

Chloe usually likes to ride on the center console (don't worry we hand on to her!) but she REALLY LOVES when her 'Cha-Cha' holds her. (Cha-Cha is what Chloe calls my momma, it's what she wants her grankids to call her because it's cool and hip!)

After we dropped Chloe off we headed to Bass Pro Shop. This place is HUGE! (and sooo NOT my kind of place) but we had to finish up my Uncle and my little cousin Danley. They LOVE Bass Pro, so we knew that whatever we got, they would love :) The only thing Mom and I ever get ourselves when we go to Bass Pro are some Cinnamon Cashews and a Diet Coke! These cashews are so YUMMY! Have any of you had them? They have them at a few malls as well.

As we were leaving Bass Pro...we saw something.. A TJMAXX!!! I'm not sure if any of you know about my love for TJMAXX, but it's alot of love. We decided to stop and see if they had anything we just couldn't live without.

We did find a super cute wooden and country looking tree hanger. I think we are going to put it in the center of a wreath on the front door :) Also, I found 3 cute pink/lime green Christmas bags that I got for a 'Panty Christmas Party' that I'm going to on Saturday night. It's where you bring a (new, OF COURSE) pair of panties and play Dirty Santa. There's only 4 of us that are having it, we are close friends and we have different sizes, so we are just buying 1 pair for each girl! I went to Victorias Secret and got those and wrapped them! So cute!

Have you ever seen this little dessert spot? Is it good? We were going to grab a cookie but we decided on Starbucks later :)

There's an outside mall in Montgomery and it's all decorated for Christmas, and Christmas music is playing as your stroll from store to store.

Here's our loot...or some of it :)

I LOVE 'Miss Me' Jeans! I will recommend them to anyone! Sizes 25-32. They are WONDERFUL! I bought this pair and they are so cute! There's a full shot and a close up of the rhinestone pocket. I have two other pairs of Miss Me's. One has rhinestone buttons and another of just plain with brown stitching. I love how Miss Me uses the thick white stitching like True Religion Jeans, but are HALF or more than half the price! :)

On the way home we stopped and ate supper at Five Guy's. This is what I ate! I LOVE their fries!

So...What do you do when you need to make a QUICK treat for company or a cookie/candy swap? Check back later to find out! :)

Have a good night!

Sorry..

Sorry, I haven't updated in awhile! I have been so busy with work, and writing papers for English, and studying for finals, and recovering from a 'bug' of some sort. I am feeling so much better and am getting a lot of my homework done and out of the way so I can have a nice weekend stress free :)

Mom and I are FINALLY going to see the Blind Side tomorrow night! So excited! You girls are probably tired of me mentioning this movie, but I'm FINALLY seeing it! Yay!

I thought I would leave ya'll with a pic of me and Chloe! I will be pretty busy this weekend, but promise to have some pics up afterwards! Have a FABULOUS weekend everyone!
