I made it! I jumped out of a perfectly good airplane and am living to tell about it! This past weekend I went SKYDIVING for the first time ever! I can now cross that off of my Bucket List :) The experience was AMAZING! I highly recommend doing it! This is the most adventurous thing I've ever done and I can't wait to do it again real soon! I thought I would be nervous the days leading up to the "big day" and on Saturday...but I wasn't scared at all. I read a verse earlier in the week about F-E-A-R and think that had a lot to do with it!
*Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. -Isaiah 41:10
*The Lord is with me, I will not be afraid." -Psalm 118:6
Enjoy some of these pics of my uncle and I. I have over 400 pictures from Saturday. I will have more than 1 post about this adventure, so keep coming back to see more pics :) I HATE that the jumpsuit I had to wear was forrest green and the harness was red...I mean HELLO!! That is SO not girly and DIVA-ish...next time I skydive, I will have to bling-out my harness or wear a pink jumpsuit or something!
***YOU CAN NOT LAUGH AT THE FOLLOWING***
OK, maybe you can, but be nice. I know I look bad with my hair all crazy and wind blowing my cheeks weird, momma says I look like Cindy Lou-Who from The Grinch.
About to jump out!
Blowing kisses!!
Look how HOT we look in these jumpsuits! Haahaha!
In front of the plane that we rode in/jumped out of!
Getting ready to land! I was so excited because I didn't fall or slide when we landed. We were able to jusr "walk" on the ground..if that makes sense.
This pic is hillarious to me! This is my Uncle Chad and I walking off the "runway". We couldn't believe we accomplished our goal without breaking a bone, backing out, or getting scared!
At the Return Gate with a man who is 82 Years Old!! That's right..82!! He jumped 4 times Saturday! He has been skydiving every weekend for the past 15 years!!
Showing off our DIPLOMAS!
More pics to come!
