Before I begin, please continue to pray for little Ethan, the child hostage from previous post. No new info has been released. This situation just hurts my heart! If you would like to follow the story please check www.wtvy.com . Apparently CNN just got on the scene, so it may be on national news this evening.

*Cake Tasting and Heavy Planning*
Last Friday was a HUGE day full of wedding planning!! It started at 8:30 am and lasted until 4pm!! At 8:30 we met with our precious wedding coordinator at the church to do a run through before we met with our floral designer/decorator at 9:30. We discussed EVERYTHING about the venues including where the floral arrangements would be placed and what they would look like. Also, table decor, entry decor, reserved pews, outside of the church, doors, etc! If was tons of fun and I'm so glad that our fabulous wedding designer is doing everything! Momma and I just tell her what we want and she just does her thing! Since our wedding is taking place in October, this will be a classy-fall themed wedding :) I can't not wait! We also met with the tent and lighting guy at the country club and discussed all things tent, lighting, and dance-floor!
Only 269 more days!!
*Cake Tasting*
Omg! I am going to LOVE how my cake will turn out! I am so excited that we found a local baker who can make wonderful and beautiful cakes! I was wanting to order my cake from Birmingham but with my luck, the cake probably wouldn't make the 4 hour car ride! I am so blessed to have found our baker who is local!! My cake will be a 5-tier cake..of course the monogram will be included! What southern cake doesn't include the monogram somewhere ;) Since the cake is 5 tiers, I've decided on two fabulous and scrumptious flavors that I will reveal after the BIG day! Andy is SO excited about his grooms cake! He designed it and we are all excited to see how the grooms table turns out!
*Bridal Expo*
Momma and I went to a local bridal expo held at the civic center. It was fun tasting foods and watching the fashion show. We also got a surprise for our guests at the wedding! I'll let my fellow bloggers in on the secret! By the picture below can you guess what the surprise is??
Have a fantastic rest of the week!!

Prayer Warriors
I need all of you that read my blog to please send up a prayer to the good Lord above for little Ethan. This 6 year old was taken hostage yesterday afternoon after a shooter came on his school bus and killed the bus driver. Many children saw this and I'm sure will have a hard time forgetting this nightmare. The shooter is a 67 year old Vietnam Veteran who was "strange" according to neighbors. He currently has little Ethan in an underground bunker and FBI, homeland security, and police officials from the surrounding counties are all assisting. Little Ethan is an autistic child who needs his medication. Apparently he has received medication since being taken and police are communicating to him through a PVC pipe. This tragic event has happened in the county in which I reside and grew up in. Please pray for all the families, police officials, Dale County school system, and each and every person involved!
Thank you! Please hold your babies a little tighter today! It's awful that so many terrible things are happening to innocent people in today's society. You never think these things will happen so close to home!
If you'd like to read the news story, just click the link below. Let's pray that Ethan will be released soon and unharmed!

Birthday Love
We had such a fun birthday celebration last night with my Momma! She chose Kyoto as her birthday dinner location! Andy made her try a piece of sushi for the first time! It was a piece of the Titanic Roll. We all pretty much had the Hibachi chicken with veggies and fried rice :) It was so delicious and we all left pretty stuffed! We were too stuffed that no one even ate their whole Gigi's cupcake!! We had the Midnight Magic and Wedding cake flavors! Speaking of wedding cake.... We have our CAKE TASTING tomorrow :) I'm so excited!! You'll have to check back on my next Wedding Wednesday for details!
Have a FABULOUS weekend!
I took the day off tomorrow to have a day full of wedding planning! We have appointments all day starting at 8:30 am!! It should be fun! I'm so glad my weekend starts in 6 hours!!

Wedding Wednesday - Week 3
Happy Wednesday y'all! But most importantly, I would like to wish my Momma a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Today is her special day! Of course in my house we celebrate birthdays all month long ;) Andy and I treated her to yogurt earlier this week to kick start the birthday week!
This past Monday my mom and I had a girls day in Montgomery and I tried on wedding dresses for the FIRST time!!!! It was a fun experience and I did find one dress that I LOVED!! It wasn't as "sweetheart" as I would like though :( I'm sure alterations could tack it or something but since it was the FIRST one I tried on... I think I'll keep looking! There is one particular dress I spotted online but I need to find a bridal boutique that has it in stock. It's only sold in 3 stores in Alabama :(
How was YOUR wedding dress experience? How many dresses did you try on? Etc.. I'd LOVE to know!
Happy Birthday again to the most fabulous person in the whole world! I love you more than all the Diet Cokes in the world ;) I can't wait to celebrate tonight with my sweet momma! The picture below shows a little sneak peek of her birthday decor!
Have a fabulous day!!

Wedding Wednesday-Week 2
Happy Humpday! This has been such a long week for me. It may have a little thing to do about me being SUPER excited about Andy and I's beach trip this weekend! Can't wait for some yummy seafood and shopping on 30A and Destin!
REHEARSAL DINNER/ REHEARSAL DRESS
Only 283 days left until the BIG day!! I haven't even started looking for my dress yet...but I have my Rehearsal & Rehearsal Dinner dress! I LOVE it and pick it up this weekend! It's a Sherry Hill cocktail dress! It's classy, elegant, and the PERFECT color! What are your thoughts girls?
FLOWER GIRL DRESS
My bridesmaids dresses and flower girl dress WILL be made out of Diopioni fabric. I just LOVE the texture and rich vibrant colors it comes in. Since I was little I knew I wanted my 'maids' to wear this material...but had NO clue what it was called. Heres a few samples of flower girl dresses I'm looking at. These dresses are VERY similar to the dress I have pictured in my head. Please keep in mind that the color of the dress will probably be a shade of tan with pink/coral sash or bow :) Can you picture that? Ok, so thoughts? The only problem I am having with the diopioni fabric dresses is that I will have to travel at least 2.5 hours to the nearest retailer that carries this fabric. All the bridal shops in Dothan don't carry it. I'd love to know your feedback or If you've used this fabric before for your 'maids' or even yourself, what company did you use?
Happy Humpday!

Wedding Wednesday-Week 1
In 290 days I will say "I do" to my best friend. On October 26, 2013 I will become a "Mrs."! We have been checking things off of our To-Do list's like crazy! Things such as venues, photographer, caterer, florist/decorator, etc! We have a cake tasting in 2 weeks with our cake baker, My sweet tooth is VERY excited about that! I have the cake design picked out just need to figure out the flavors! Mom and I each have an Erin Condren planner to help us stay organized! Nothing is better than an EC planner! I highly recommend one for the new year! Mom has a normal one and mine is the wedding version :)
The Venue:
Our wedding ceremony will take place at my home church and childhood church, Ozark Baptist. Our church has such a big, spacious, and gorgeous sanctuary!
The reception venue (which I've already changed once and lost the deposit...o well!) is at the Fox Ridge Golf Club a few miles from the church! It has been recently renovated and is pretty :) I love the chandeliers that are inside. There is a separate room for the cake, large main room, and a spacious patio overlooking the golf course. A tent will be on the patio and the band will set up out there with the dance floor so we can dance all night long! A neat fact about this venue is that it is kinda sentimental to MY groom! Andy's grandfather owned and managed that golf club in the 90's so growing up Andy made lots of memories there!
My Photographer:
I LOVE my photographer Scott Kennedy! His work is amazing and he is such a fun guy! I love seeing his work in local magazines and just knew that he needed to capture my special day! You can visit his blog page at www.kennedyintstudios.com
Currently Andy and I have been discussing our Honeymoon! We need to book it soon and we are leaning towards St.Lucia as #1 choice and Hawaii as our #2 choice.
Where have y'all traveled to on your honeymoon? What are some pros and cons and also what resort would you or would you not recommend? (im lobing Jade Mountain in St. Lucia!!) Any input from my fabulous blog followers will be appreciated!
Thanks and have a FABULOUS Wednesday!

Rob Time
Andy and I went to visit sweet baby Rob the other night! We normally go at nighttime to visit and he plays for a little bit then gets fussy and tired. Well, THIS time he played the WHOLE time! It was so much fun!! I can't believe how big he is getting! He is at such a fun age and is a little arm scootin' crawling machine!
Have a fantastic day! Wedding Wednesday is tomorrow! Check back!
