If you've come down to the beautiful Florida beaches, then you have probably passed the scenic 30-A. Andy and I just love everything about it! The restaurants, shops, beauty, and people. We decided to head down this past Saturday and do some eating and shopping.
We drove through Alys Beach to our first stop at Seaside.
We browsed through a few shops while at Seaside and stopped at Heavenly's for some fabulous gelato! I got Heath bar flavored :)
After our little treat we met up with Sj, Tullie, and baby Rob!! They were staying the weekend at their beach house and so we went there while getting ready for dinner!
We ate a La Creme Tapas and Chocolate for dinner and it was wonderful! Delicious food, friendly staff, and great atmosphere!
Sj and Andy both had a wonderful spinach salad with candied walnuts, cranberries, and goat cheese. We all shared the hummus and pita bread. Andy and Tullie had the Steak Enpinadas with cream cheese and apples inside, wow O wow! Those were delicious! I had the scallops and asparagus :)
Tullie ordered a lobster tail too!
Rob ordered chicken fingers and ketchup :) He LOVES clapping!!! He knows it puts him as the center of attention every time!
Peanut Butter and Chocolate fondue for dessert with all the fixin's for dipping! I am going back next week for this! :)
We had such a fun and fabulous evening with our great friends that we ended up spending the night! Don't pay attention to Andy looking at something besides me..haha, just focus on him holding that sweet baby!
We parted ways Sunday morning and Andy and I did some shopping in Destin :) I scored 2 new pairs of workout shoes from Reebok Outlet and they were BOGO Free! How awesome is that! Andy had too much fun getting workout gear from Under Armour and cute new shirts from Polo! After an afternoon Icee for me, we headed to Stinky's Fish Camp for a late lunch before heading home. My Firecracker Shrimp was just as yummy as it looked!
