Lunch Date

Monday I had a lunch date with 2 awesome ladies, Kate and Courtney! We went and ate at Momma Goldberg's Deli..aka Momma G's! We all ordered the nachos and a sandwich! It was so yummy! We enjoyed tons of good laughs during our 2 hour lunch!!! Time sure does fly when having fun! Before eating, we walked into a pet bakery and I bought Chloe a little surprise..some yummy doggie treats :)

After lunch I went to visit my grandparent's and then had a night class...World Lit.

ADORABLE!

I have fallen in love with these pumps..online. I am hoping to try these adorable Steve Madden "Vanissa"'s on at my local Dillard's sometime this week. If I were to buy them, I would get them in the ones below in the color "BLUSH". Just by looking at them, I can tell they will hurt my feet and my size 5 foot probably won't fit in SM's size 6 :(. I'll never know unless I try them on!

These "FUSHIA" ones are adorable as well! "BLUE" and "GRAY" are also available.

Right Hand Rings

Do any of you have a right hand ring? If so, which style do you have? Did you buy it for yourself or was it a gift? I am just going crazy if I don't have one soon! I have wanted one for the past couple of months. The style I want is a wide band with many stones :) The one pictured below is on my fabulous hand (sorry its a little swollen) and we sold these at work..but my size sold out!! I am HIGHLY thinking of ordering this one again. The company of this ring is the same designer that makes the jewelry for The Housewives of New Jersey and New York! ONLY $88

First Day Recap

Today classes started and they went really well. I was able to see some friends I haven't seen in months, and also recieved a phone call from a friend who lives pretty far away and I haven't talked to in a while. I was able to run lots of errands today too after classes!



1. I canceled my Club Sun account..thanks to Obama the cost of tanning went up :( and I haven't really had the time to go lately.



2. I went and got my eyebrows waxed, they look much better. It had been awhile.



3. I went and got some make-up, because I was completely out! I was so excited to find out when I went to check out at the Clinique counter that is was BONUS BUY! YAY! Look what I got :)

4. I went to Michael's, and got some supplies to make something super cute for the first Auburn game this year :) Hopefully, I will be able to attend the tailgating festivities that are planned, but if not, I will be in Auburn as SOON as I get off work!

I had a night class tonight and it is an earlier night class than last time, which is nice. I didn't like getting home at 8:50 after class, now I get home at 7! Mom is treating me to a Frappe tonight for having a good first day :) Let's hope tomorrow is even more fabulous!

First Day Of School!

Today is the 1st day of school! Today is the first day of my 3rd year in college. I am taking four classes this semester, which i normally do, and working! I have the day off today too, which means I can get everything ready for classes and have some 'ME' time!

I love going back to school and anything school supplies! I remember back in the day...back in elementary school, the love I had with Lisa Frank stuff! I had the bookbags, binders, pencils, sticker, etc! The erasers were so fun too! Does anyone remember Lisa Frank? I had the golden retriever, unicorn, polar bear, and dancing ballerina stuff!

No more Lisa Frank school supplies or monogram bookbags and lunchboxes...now it's time for this and other boring supplies :(

Work Sweetness!

I am so thankful that I work at such a FABULOUS store! I enjoy the people i work with, the lovely items we sell, the customers we have, and I will always cherish the many friendships I have made with everyone who walks through the doors at Hissyfits!

Saturday morning a sweet man Mr.S, came to buy some "brown bag surprises" for his wife. Mr.S buys things for his wife and puts them in a brown bag and like once a week gives her something from the brown bag :) I want a husband like that! Mr. S, came in and brought me a surprise...BREAKFAST! Look how amazing this looks! He even put fresh picked flowers from his garden on the tray :)

Strawberries, Pineapple, blueberries, cherries, grapefruit, etc..YUMMY!

Then, around 4pm, Amie brought me a surprise!!! A Mocha Frappe! I just LOVE her!!

Hope everyone has a FABULOUS weekend! Thanks again Amie for hiring me 3 years ago and allowing me to meet so many fabulous people :)

I just love decorating front doors! How about you? Whether it's a personalized letter, cute wreath, or seasonal banner, the front door of a home always says alot about the homeowner. These banners have come in today at HISSYFITS BOUTIQUE and they are ALL UNDER $50!!! They are backed with felt and a painted canvas banner. Some have detailed edges like pompoms and feathers. I am highly thinking about purchasing this one for momma!

This pumpkin with feathers and zebra is a MUST HAVE!

This cute pumpkin can be personalized with a single inital and these two are PUFFY, which adds some character!

Blah.

This week has been kinda weird for me. It's had its ups and downs. Today I was planning on going to Montgomery to shop and meet a friend for dinner. However when I woke up at 10am..plans changed. I felt like I needed to let loose and RUN. Girls, I have not been in shape for a while. So I put some Nike Fit Shorts on and a tank...I love Nike Shorts! Amazing!
They come in all colors! So I ran about 2 miles today walked a half a mile, and was super proud of myself! After that, I went to get Chloe her favorite bone ever for being such a sweet girl!

I just love my sweet Chloe! No matter how good or bad my day has been, I know that she is ALWAYS there by the door waiting for me! I love pulling into the driveway and seeing her head pop up through the window! Isn't it wonderful how much a pet can love you? I know that no matter what happens, Chloe is always there for me and will always be there waiting with tons of sweet kisses :)

After that Mom and I met for lunch (I've lost some weight in the past few days so she wanted me to eat..lol) and then my momma filled my car with gas :) Thanks Mom!

I then went home and got ready and left for some shopping in Montgomery and had dinner with a friend. It was a fun and productive day off!

Rain or Shine..

...I was going to go to the beach on Sunday! Sunday I took a much needed trip to Destin with 3 fab friends! We were excited to lay out and catch some rays for the day, but we all knew that it would likely rain due to the tropical depression coming in, but we had plan B if that happened. After the STORMING trip down there...it decided to rain the entire time! Kate had to drive 40 mph on the interstate it was raining so bad..but we were still going shopping!! The girls and I arrived to Destin around lunch and decided to grab a bite to eat at Fudpucker's. We all ordered some appetizers and shared...I gained a few pounds today we ate so much! After lunch we went shopping..tons of shopping, and also stopped for dessert on the way back home!

Congrats Tyler!

A huge congratulations goes to Kathy's son Tyler!! Remember Kathy? The lady whom I LOVE and I ate dinner with last week? Well her son Tyler is my age, and was recently awarded a HUGE scholarship for medical school. He has worked so hard for this and participated in many medical students' conferences in Chicago and North Carolina since high school. His hard work paid off and he has won a scholarship that is paying for his medical school! How awesome is that! Tyler is still unsure what kind of doctor he is going to become but is highly thinking about Neurology/Brain Surgeon. Just imagine..no student loans after MEDICAL school..this is a huge deal! Tyler's parents are wonderful and decided he needed a celebratory dinner for his friends and family to help celebrate and give Tyler well wishes! Everyone had a fabulous time last night at the dinner and good times were had by all!

Fun Fact: I went with Tyler to his senior prom 2 years ago!

Blind Date Details

I'm sorry I left ya'll hanging yesterday about the blind date! So, here's the scoop..

R=the guy

Scott=Amie's husband

Amie=my boss

1. My boss and her husband are the "matchmakers" I guess you could say. They are the ones who "set us up". Scott works with R's mom and they got to talking about me and also her son...they thought we should meet and go on a date. So, after a few weeks of Facebooking, texting, and 2 phone calls, we decided picked last night to go on our date.

2.Here's the scoop on R. He just graduated from a Auburn University in building science/architecure stuff. lol. He has moved back home and received a job right after graduation and works for a local building company as a supervisor. War Eagle!

3. Here's how the night went. R picked me up after work and we ate at a favorite..LaParilla Mexican. The food was really yummy and the conversations kept flowing.

After dinner, we went to go see "The Other Guys". It was such a funny movie! We shared some laughs and overall had a great time! We called it a night after the movie, we both had to go into work this morning early.

4. R was a real gentleman and made sure to open all doors for me and help me in his truck. It was a fun night and I'm sure we will do it again soon! I wore a new outift from Express :) That will be in another post!

Happy FRIDAY!! I will be enjoying a dinner reception for a friend tonight and also hanging out with some more friends after that!! Thank goodness the weekend is here!

Sweet Aubrey!

These are some pics of sweet Aubrey, my 3 year old cousin who stayed with us this past weekend. Aubrey is such a smart little girl! Or should I say medium girl!

*Momma told Aubrey that Chloe wasn't used to little people and to be sweet when petting her. Aubrey quickly responded with. "I'm NOT little, I'm Medium. Mommy and Daddy are large, and baby Jocelyn is small." *

Aubrey and I played with puzzles, bubbles, putting Chloe's toys near her numerous times, playing flashlight games with Kyle's dogs, and much more! She sang songs, counted in spanish, and played dice too!
