Surprises!

Don't you just love a good surprise? Whether it's a phone call from a friend you haven't talked to in a while, finding out you don't have class because of the weather, or getting a surprise package in the mail?? Those three happened to me today!!

First of all, classes got canceled today because there has been severe weather in south Alabama. Tornando's were spotted about 40 miles from where I live and tornado watches everywhere! Thank the Lord everyone is fine and the bad weather passed by noon. Here's what the outside looked like this morning. I waited to take the pics once all the storm clouds rolled over.

Sorry about the dead plant :(

Look at the puddles!

This morning as I was getting ready for work, FEDEX came and I recieved a package from Christin at A Classy, Catholic, Southern Bride. I won my first ever GIVEAWAY!! I'm so excited! It came today in the mail, and I LOVE my super cute new ornament!!! Thanks Christin!!!

Chloe Elizabeth loved getting a package! She just HAD to get in the pic with me!

Look at my new ornament to add to my tree! She even has rhinestone earrings! Christin even added one of their new christmas cards!!! Thanks again!

Work was sooo busy today! It's always busy when it storms! Once I got home from work, I came home and my MOMMA (i know she's reading and she hates when I say 'mother' on my blog..so i said momma this time)made some homemade Snickerdoodle cookies!! They are so YUMMY!!!

Momma also made Peanut Butter Fudge and Holiday Crackers!

Here's the recipe for Holiday Crackers! They are my favorite little snack and are perfect for parties and just to have around the house. Try them! They are quick and easy!

Holiday Crackers

1 box of cheese crackers (i use Cheez-It's)

3/4 tsp. Dill weed

1/4 cup vegtable oil

1 pkg. Hidden Valley Ranch dry salad dressing

Mix all but crackers in a bowl. Add crackers and coat all. Pour in cookie sheet and bake at 250 degrees for 8 minutes. Stir and then bake for 8 more minutes.Drain if needed. Enjoy!

What are some of your favorite holiday food items?

I will be out of town for the next two days, and will blog again this weekend!
